    Pete (and Steve) in Liverpool

    Hi all,

It is nearly that time of year again !

I will be travelling across from England on the Tuesday before the weekend, and will be spending the day at Dunkirk, then on the Wednesday I am travelling to the Nurenburg Ring. Wednesday Night I will be stopping in a hotel in Sinsheim, and spending Thursday and Friday morning looking around the Sinsheim Motor Museum.

If anyone wants to join me and my pal Steve, you would be more than welcome.

I look forward to emptying a few glasses with you all.

    Hi all,

here in the UK, you can fit what ever tyre you like, so long as the tyre has sufficient grip. At the point of import it must be correct, but after that point, it is upto the owner as to what tyre's you put on. You are meant to follow the guide for speed etc, and if you have an accident and have not got the correct tyres fitted, then the Police will have a serious word in your ear. but, it is upto the owner of the motorcycle, and is not checked by anyone.

    Hi all,

Sorry I have not been in contact on here for a while, I have been working away for a while. I hope everyone is Ok.Speak again soon.

    Pete in Livepool

As some of you may be aware, I polish my motorcycle at around 6:00am ..........

Ordinarily, I won't let the bike get wet, Therefore, i just have to dus it off, then polish after use.

    It seems to work....

    Cheers,

    Pete in Liverpool.

That bike is simply stunning. I Love the wheels. What are the centers/Hubs that have been used, and are the original brake discs and rear sprocket used???

    Cheers,

    Pete in Liverpool.

    Hello all...

Has anyone got a picture and also the part number for the Hand Air Pump for adjusting the tyre pressures? It lives under the seat, next to the tool kit.

    Thank you in advance,

    Peter in Liverpool

    Hello All!

Finally I am home. My ass is dead, but my head is alive with the thoughts of the weekend!

Thankyou to everyone that played a part. It was a wonderful experience, and one that I intend to repeat. Maybe next year I will come back to Germany for the 12th ISFT and play with more porsche's on the highway!.

Thank you all once again for a great weekend, it was excellent to put faces to names.

    Cheers,

    Pete in Liverpool

    Peter,

I have had a few pints tonight to make sure that I sleep. I am looking forward to the trip so much !!.

I am also looking forward to getting onto the motorway in germany and listening to kraftwerk's Autobahn on the MP3 player. This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time. You are making this come true for me.

Thank you for all the work that you have done. I have done similar in the UK, and now it is time for you to relax, and let it all happen.

    hankyou in advance,

    Peter in Liverpool

    Hi aik,

My SC40 does not have a plate, just the chassis number stamped into the headstock. As they are all exported bikes from Japan, that means that they were all registered previously in Japan. Japanese law at the time of manufacture did not require a plate on a motorcycle,so thats why they dont have one.

    cheers,

    Pete, in Liverpool

dont think that anyne that rides a cb1@00 could irritate me. The weather could irritate me seeing as though i have not ridden my bike so it stays immaculate since the strip down to clean it for the isft !!

    well, lets hope for sun.

    Cheers,

    Pete in Liverpool

for final preperations, do we know what the weather forecast is for the weekend?? I cannot get an accurate european forecast. I am travelling from Rotterdam through to the stairs on friday. i think its going to get wet......

    pete in liverpool

    AHHH I SEE.

Not me, although i have been lent over far enough to have clipped the bushes next to the road with my helmet in the past, the angle of lean was required due to the speed i was going at !!

    cheers Sam,

Pete in Liverpool, - now fully " up to speed "

    Hi All,

I think I am maybe missing something here in translation.

I see lots of references to "Flower Pickers", but dont understand...lol

    Pete in Liverpool-slightly confused......

    Hi Peter,

I have emailed you to inform you that my friend Mark Povall will not be able to come along to the ISFT.

    I Am still coming.

    Cheers,
