Hello unnamed member,
that sounds very interssting - theoretically.
If the pistons of the CBR are used in the engine of the SC40 you'll have got 1.369 ccm. I don't know meassure yet and right now here, but i did it like that with the engine of my SC40.
O.K. i left the generator at his place and i also use the stock carburetors of the SC40 - i only modified air cleaner and the spray system to the new cylinder capacity. The camshaft of the cbr1000 is also embedded but the engine didn't need a separate oil-cooler. If you'll play hard with the motorbike all the time, you'll have no driving licence for the rest of your life and if you'll go fast on the highway or in the mountains there is a maximum oiltemperature of 90 degree Celsius - Thats absolutly O.K.
The exaust-system is a 4 in 2 Barracuda with (!!!) exaust silencers. The original gearbox is also at his place.
The output is 130 hp at the rear wheel with 131 NM at 7.050 rounds per minute of the crankshaft. The characteristic is between gentie like the stock SC40 and hard like a race bike. Topspeed is (real !!!) 253 KM/H - Then the engine is running into rev limiter at 9.500 rpm.
If they reach 200 hp at the rear wheel, they have to modify a lot more than i did.
Sorry for my english - It isn't my mother language
With best regards TT
