hi guys.
thanks for the warm welcome
i do remember the strict regulations (TUEF ?)
in australia it differs from state to state. luckely in wa, we don't have a
"tueff" at all, unless one gets stopped by the cops and they slap a yellow
sticker on your windscreen or somewhere on the bike. then you have to
take it over the pits within a certain time. that could be nasty, like your
tuef. if you cop a red sticker, you have to tow the vehicle away.
in general the cops target young people, me, (already white beard) i get
away with murder.
so, mixing tyre brands or bigger sizes , no problem. almost everybody has
an aftermarket can on their bike. i have a staintune myself.
a lot of guys fiddle with tuning (powercomander, exhaust systems, air intakes) and so on.
also, as i mentioned before, there aren't many cb's in wa. my oldest spotted
one the other week and i did see one about two months ago.
went to a bike meet (about sixty bikes there) and mine was the only one.
perth is known to have the highest number of harley's outside the US ,
other then that there are shitloads of R1's and fireblades, my oldest owns
two fireblades ( 929 and 954).
before i forget, the speed limit is normally 100km\hr max. is 110 but only on a few highways. as you can imagen, people know where to take their bikes,
if they feel like putting the hammer down (go really fast)
