Gardasee Treffen

Hi all folks,
Last week end on the roads near Gardasee the cb1300team hold an "unofficial" italian cb1300-treffen. 23 bikes (2003 and 2004 models) attended the event. It was really great

Besides on the french bigone forum, (the site is http://www.http://www.jetzer.org/~bigone/ maybe you know it) people started discussions about a european meeting (as there are organised groups in Germany, France, Italy, Suisse and Holland). It sounds interesting, doesn't it?

nice pictures...fotos, sorry, my english is not so good....i must search in my brian...
the best is the pic of the 23 big bikes....
but i coudent see any japanese driver! where are their?
next meeting at the gardasee...write here...maybe anyone from germany also fly to the sea.
mann, hab ich denn alles vergessen? ich meinte, beim nächsten gardasee treffen soll er doch hier mal bescheid geben. da geht doch was! kann mir einer der englisch künstler mal helfen.

ohjeh, die Fremdsprachen ...
Ich hab' mir beide Seiten mal angeschaut, vor allem die

Struktur der französischen Kollegen scheint ganz der alten

"Big-One-Philosophie" zu entsprechen: sowohl CB1000- als auch

CB1300-Fahrer sind vertreten.
Aber die Sprache
Gesucht werden also LESER, die die italienische und die französische Seite beobachten und ab und an mal ein Exzerpt hier

verfassen.

we missed you and your friends at our superfours-meeting in june. we had prepared an extra-italien-quarter, we had nice italien girls to translate ... we had beer, wine, music ... and bikes

i think it has to be an "european BIG-ONE-meeting", which includes the CB1000SC30 (the big-ONE), the CB1300SC40 (the old-ONE) and the CB1300SC54 (the new-ONE) ... is there any agreement in this regard? or would it be an cb1300-meeting?
in these times we had an unpleasant discussion about the adjustment of this site: the old members want to keep their good relationship to the cb1000s upright. some few of the new members do not understand it and wanted to divide the superfours into different parts. after this and some other troubles with "guests" and members in former days this year, our webmaster martin decided to hand the site over to joe.

... are there any cb1000-big-one-riders in italy too? they are organized by their own?
since the "new" cb1300sc54 "started", the members of this forum became more and more: there are about three hundred (listed) nicknames (members?) in the forum and about seventy members in our location-list from may/2004 ... nevertheless we are still the >>most-clubish non-club<< worldwide.

*** well well there's no plan at the moment of what-to-do and what-should-be regarding this meeting...it's just an idea that need to be developed...in any case I think both the options could be interesting (cb1300solo or bigone-treffen with cb1000 probably the best choice)

*** humm, the Honda official italian site doesn't have any link to a cb-1000 group...I think there isn't an organisation or a club...consider that diffusion of big bikes in italy is much much less than in germany or france for instance...you know, people here think that only the last-last-hyper-tech-jap supersport can be "cool" and so the market is focused on that race-replicas...big naked have only a small slice. Since 2003 Honda told us that in italy were sold about 500-600 cb1300 however HERE WE ARE!

eheh this cafe-racer is a special made by our cb1300team member, Paolo from Parma. It was the most admired at our treffen on Gardasee...anyway he told us his work isn't finished yet...He'll have to work a lot during this winter, he said. In any case look at particulars...for instance the special brakes! or even the Ohlins suspensions (veeeeery expensive I suppose...). This man is an artist!

P.S.: Leute, in das Franzosen-Forum müßt ihr wirklich mal reinschauen. Die haben die Foren-Disziplin so richtig im Griff da. Da werden Neulinge schon kollektiv gerüffelt, wenn sie das "Bonjour" vergessen. Erstaunlich.
